A Bean-Filled Feast To Fête Our Gohar World Collaboration

But of course beans were on the menu - and the table (and everywhere else) - for the intimate dinner celebrating our limited edition capsule with Gohar World, an exciting collaboration featuring a selection of signature Métier styles handpainted with heirloom beans and cheekily adorned with vegetable charms.
A band of 40 brand friends stepped out for the elegant evening, hosted at Gohar World’s Tribeca studio. Guests caught up on conversation and explored the collection - handbags, envelopes, bag charms and more inspired by Gohar’s love for farmers' produce - over champagne and Gildas, a classic Basque bite.
Ever the artful tablescapers, Gohar World laid the long dining table with a striped green linen, tall white taper candles tied with trailing bows, and curious calla lilies playfully sprouting from dishes of heirloom beans.
The meal started with a mixed Sorana bean salad with celery, ricotta, salata and mint, followed by an entrée course of braised soldier beans with parmigiano reggiano, an imbrecciata of beans, farro and pancetta, and an olive oil poached tuna. Generous slices of chocolate nemesis cake with spoonfuls of crème fraîche carried the party late into the evening.
Each place setting was peppered with Lobmeyr's Patrician glassware, and Gohar World’s collection of bean trompe l’oeil dinner plates, a feast for the eyes that set a most fitting scene for the bean-filled banquet ahead.
